Over 1700 worshipers of God gathered Aug. 5-8, 2009 at Covenant Life Church in Gaithersburg, MD, for WorshipGod09:From Generation to Generation.
The main sessions addressed what we should teach future generations about worshiping God, seeking to put into practice the word of the psalmist: “One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts” (Ps. 145:4 ESV).

Thurs. 7 PM - The Leaders of Worship (Jeff Purswell)
Fri. 9 AM - The Church of Worship (Thabiti Anyabwile)
Fri. 7 PM - Lessons Learned from Three Decades of Leading (CJ Mahaney and Bob Kauflin)
Sat. 9 AM - The Future of Worship (Bob Kauflin)
In addition, Keith and Kristyn Getty sang on Thursday morning, and rapper Shai Linne shared his unique brand of Christian hip-hop on Friday morning.
Seminars included intermediate and advanced instrumental tracks, encouraging physical expressiveness, raising up young worship leaders, teaching children about worship, songwriting, media applications, and much more. Don Whitney spoke on family worship and cultivating a thirst for God.
